THE TEAM
WAGNER JOB SAFETY
At Wagner Development, Safety is an integral part of our daily operations. Beginning with the initiation of a project, a Site-Specific Safety Plan is put together to encompass the hazards associated with that project. The Programs and Compliance Manager personally mobilizes the project to set up Compliance related processes from, what we call, Week 0, and then routine visits are conducted by the Director of Safety as well as the Programs and Compliance Manager to ensure the Compliance items are a continued process throughout the duration. The Director of Safety combs through a multitude of criteria and ensures all processes are in place to make sure the project is successful.
Additionally, Wagner Development has implemented a training program to ensure continuing education to keep employees’ minds fresh on topics and hazards associated with the Construction Industry. Training is conducted throughout the year and each subject is refreshed annually not only to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, but to minimize the potential for accidents and property loss events.
Whenever any unique safety-related event arises, the company, led by the COO and Director of Safety, face the event head on and formulate a cooperative and viable plan to resolve the issue with the least amount of business disruption and impact to not only the company, but our clients and subcontractors and vendors alike. It is our belief that in doing so, we protect our interests and the interests of our subcontractors and vendors as well.
